Building CHN

24-hour student work places

Students at ETH Zurich get around-the-clock access to student work places in building CHN as far as compatible with the requirements relating to safety and operations processes. The ETH card provides the 24-hour access to the buildings.

The following locations are available to use 24 hours a day.

• Gallery (Hall), Floors E/F/G
• Cafeteria/Bistro, Floor D

Information and Service Centre

The Information and Service Centre for the building area UN is located in building CAB room CAB F 41.1. A covered passage to to building CAB at Universitätstrasse 6 can be found on floor F.

Deliveries

Deliveries can be made via the delivery ramp at the back of building CHN. The ramp is located on floor F in front of room CHN F 68.1.

Family Office

The family office is located in the souterrain of the building CHN, Universitätstrasse 8, room CHN D 50.3. The room can be used by parents who wish to bring their children to work and supervise them themselves.

Prospective users must first register and sign the user agreement before they can use the room for the first time. As soon as you are registered as a user, you can obtain your personal key, limited to one year, at the ISC counter (Info and Service Centre, Building CAB). For short-term use, a spare key can be found in the Department Secretariat Administration (CHN H 47).

Reservations can be made in the Outlook calendar «Familienbüro CHN D-USYS». When making a reservation, the name of the parent or careperson and the number of children must be stated. In case of short-term use without prior registration, please add the use on the same day in the Outlook calendar.
