The Association for Tropical Biology and Conservation (ATBC) is an international organisation which aims to help preserve tropical ecosystems and deepen knowledge about them. To this end, it supports research, cooperation and dialogue between scientists in this field. In January 2015, the Presidency for the year was awarded to Prof. Jaboury Ghazoul, Professor of Ecosystem Management in the Department of Environmental Systems Science (D-USYS) at ETH Zurich.
