ESOP and ETH-D scholarships awarded
D-USYS
Two Master's students each of the agricultural sciences and environmental sciences in the Department of Environmental Systems Sciences Science (D-USYS) have received an Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme (ESOP) scholarship. A total of six students from D-USYS were awarded an ETH-D scholarship.
Through the Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme (ESOP), ETH Zurich supports outstanding students who are studying for a Master's degree at ETH Zurich. The best two to three percent of all new Master's students receive a scholarship that covers the cost of living, as well as a tuition fee waiver. Johana Bellon and Elias Barmetter received such a scholarship in agricultural sciences and Janine Wetter and Proneet Dutt in environmental sciences.
Six ETH-D scholarships at D-USYS
Alexander Pulfer was awarded an ETH-D scholarship in agricultural sciences, Lorenz Kaysser, Zhang Zhao, Nicolai Krieger, Zipeng Liu and Nielja Knecht in environmental sciences.

The Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme (ESOP) supports students with a scholarship, mentorship, and the ETH Foundation network. The scholarship covers full study and living costs over the course of the Master’s degree.
The ETH-D Scholarship is a partial stipend offered separately or in addition to a further scholarship offered by the department.
