The ETH-Medal was given to:
- Juliana Neumann with the Master’s thesis "Hydrothermal Carbonization of Poultry Litter: Recirculation and Biotoxicity Testing of the Liquid Phase"
- Kevin Lang with the Master’s thesis "Spatio-Temporal Estimation of Global Plastic Waste Inputs to the Ocean from 1990 to 2015".
As best-of-the-year graduate student Christoph Heim was given the Willi Studer Prize from ETH Zurich.
For her excellent thesis "Evaluating the micropollutant biotransformation potential of stream biofilms" an award of the Environmental Sciences study programme was given to Nora Minas.
