Greenhouse gases are the cause of climate change. The European infrastructure network ICOS RI (Integrated Carbon Observation System Research Infrastructure) is committed to standardised measurements so that emissions can be compared across Europe.

The #ICOScapes photo campaign aims at raising awareness of climate change and greenhouse gas measurements. For his exhibition, nature photographer Konsta Punkka visited various ICOS measurement stations in their unique environments. It also includes the external pageICOS Switzerland station Jungfraujoch, which was officially certified as ICOS Atmosphere station in May 2018.

The virtual exhibition will be open until 15 September 2021.
