Alex Widmer appointed new Head of Department at D-USYS

D-USYS is happy to announce the new Department Management: As of August 2021, Alex Widmer is Head of Department, supported by Nicolas Gruber as Deputy Head of Department.

Alex Widmer takes over from Nina Buchmann, who was Head of Department for a total of 4 years and previously Deputy Head of Departement for 5 years.
As Director of Studies, Emmanuel Frossard replaces Susanne Ulbrich in Agricultural Sciences and Harald Bugmann replaces Bernhard Wehrli in Environmental Sciences.
While Frossard is already in charge from August 2021, Bugmann will start on January 2022 after his return from sabbatical. Congratulations and all the best!
