Nina Buchmann, Professor of Grassland Sciences at ETH Zurich, has ranked 5 in Switzerland in the 2022 "Ranking of Top 1000 Female Scientists in the World" by research.com.

"The ranking is based on the H-index metric provided by Microsoft Academic Graph. "The idea behind a ranking of only female scientists is to offer more visibility into scientific achievements of women, whom we believe deserve an equal chance to be represented and praised for their work, as many similar rankings are sadly still dominated by men," write the editors.
