Research area

I am studying the effects that selective pressures acting on social traits have on the evolution of developmental processes. Ranging from microscopy to sequencing approaches, my research aims to describe such mechanisms at a phenotypic and molecular level using the bacterium Myxococcus xanthus as model organism.
