I am a geographer and landscape ecologist interested in the dynamics of soil processes and how global change affects them. My scientific background is in soil biogeochemistry and soil ecology. I have had the chance to work in different labs for my thesis projects and do field work in remote areas.
In my PhD project I explore how biogeochemical cycles in arctic soils change through global warming and arctic greening. To research these topics I make use of soil models. Thus, my focus is shifting from lab work to soil modelling. I am excited to acquire a set of new skills and apply them to a very dynamic ecosystem that is changing dramatically and may have a great impact on our future climate.
