Personal Research
My main research interests are threefold: (a) Environmental decision-making processes of individuals, groups, and society and their complex interplay; (b) options and limitations of collaboration between science and society on sustainability issues; (c) procedural and distributive fairness. I am involved in a number of projects in the energy field such as radioactive waste management, and on health related issues. My general interest is how individuals, stakeholder groups and the broader society deal with contested infrastructure projects and with limited resources.
