Degree request
Students can apply for a Bachelor's degree within five years of commencement of the Bachelor's study programme. The minimum number of credit points specified in the study guide must by then be acquired.The application must specify the academic achievements from the categories or subcategories to be included in the final report. A maximum of 190 KP can be listed.
As soon as you have acquired at least 180 KP in the prescribed categories of the study regulations valid for you, you can apply for a diploma. The Bachelor's degree must be applied for no later than five years after commencement of the Bachelor's programme. A maximum of 190 KP can be listed in the final certificate. Further services can be marked in the application and then appear on the supplementary sheet.

- Important note: if the Degree request is submitted and there is no enrollment in a Master's program at ETH, exmatriculation will take place. Enrollment in the consecutive Master's program is possible as soon as at least 150 CP have been achieved in the Bachelor's program and the categories Basic Corses I and II have been successfully and completely completed.
The consecutive Master's program in Environmental Sciences can be started in the fall or spring semester.

Academic title
The Bachelor’s degree entitles students to use the following academic title: Bachelor of Science ETH in Environmental Sciences (BSc ETH Environmental Sc.)
The academic title in German is: Bachelor of Science ETH in Umweltnaturwissenschaften (BSc ETH Umwelt-Natw.).
