How can leadership and transition management drive net zero?
Lectures and participants reconvened for the fourth module of the CAS ETH in Climate Innovation and dedicated two days to the subject of change leadership and how to manage the transition towards net zero emissions from a corporate perspective.
On the first day of this module, Oliver Akeret and Gudrun Thorsdottir guided participants through a stimulating case study on decision making and balancing pros and cons, focusing on CDR portfolio decisions. Their input and guidance were invaluable in understanding the complexities of how companies can achieve net zero.
The second day featured a leadership workshop with James O’Neil, where participants were introduced to different aspects of leadership from a stakeholder, team, and individual perspective. They discovered the critical importance of change leadership in driving innovation and managing disruptive change. Participants then actively applied these concepts to their personal challenges.
With this newly gained knowledge, they are now better equipped to take the next step, take the responsibility, and lead the change.
