Agricultural Sciences
ETH Zurich is the only university in Switzerland to offer a degree programme in Agricultural Sciences. Current questions on agriculture and food production are the focus of attention.
Bachelor's studies
The Bachelor's degree programme lasts at least 3 years. During this time 180 credit points must be acquired. An internship of 10 weeks is also compulsory. Entry into the first semester is only possible in autumn.
Master’s degree programme
The Master's programme in Agricultural Sciences lasts at least 2 years. A total of 3 specialisations are offered:
- Agricultural Economics
- Animal Sciences
- Plant Sciences
A total of 120 credit points are to be acquired. A professional internship of 16 weeks is mandatory. The degree is a Master of Science ETH in Agriculural Sciences (MSc ETH Agricultural Sc.).
Further qualification is guaranteed by the doctorate and various forms of continuing academic education (MAS/CAS).
