Majors
A student’s professional identity is defined by the choice of major. Students can choose from three majors.
Every major includes both disciplinary and method-based competences. The courses in disciplinary competences mainly focus on teaching thematic specialist knowledge. The courses in method-based competences focus on teaching students how to analyse, process, present and apply the in-depth disciplinary knowledge.
A prescribed minimum number of credits must be achieved in all competence areas (see diagram below), to be supplemented by choosing other courses within the major up to the total of 40 credits.
