I am interested in range expanding species shifting their distributions in response to climate change. My work is centered around a large field warming experiment where I investigate drivers of population establishment of native range expanding plants, such as dispersal limitation, plant-plant interactions and temperature limitation. To assess climate change impacts of range expanding species on plant communities, I model shifts in community composition based on vegetation survey data of the last 20 years.
