Research interests

In my research, I focus on stakeholder participation for sustainability. My goal is to increase the ability of stakeholders and citizens to be agents of change to reshape their social and natural environment as a way towards a sustainable society. Through my research, I investigate how existing methods from the field of stakeholder participation can contribute to this goal.

At SAE group and tdLab, I work for the RUNRES project, which aims to establish a circular economy for resilient city-region food systems. In this project, I focus on three main challenges: (1) integrating different stakeholder-perspectives through transdisciplinary methods, (2) structuring decision-processes for more inclusive decisions, and (3) monitoring sustainable development, with a focus on the Sustainable Development Goals.
