Waldlabor / WaLabETH

Covering an area of over 150 hectares of urban forest and running for over 100 years, the Waldlabor Zürich is a Europe-wide unique real world lab on forest, forest management and society. ETH Zürich is a founding member. Following a successful start-up phase, the Waldlabor is now actively used for teaching, research and outreach. Its influence extends far beyond the city and canton of Zurich. The growth trajectory is planned to continue.
